Coldridge
We have a variety of guest speakers, garden visits (our own and commercial) and social events.

We are not experts but a friendly fun club that promotes all aspects of gardening as a highly enjoyable hobby. It doesn't matter if you have a large garden or a window box, there's something for everyone.

New members are warmly welcomed. Fancy joining us? If so, please do get in touch, we'd love to meet you.

Full club membership is only £15 per household per year.
April’s meeting was a Plant Swap and Social evening. Members gathered with tips on how to tend the offerings from their own gardens, found some ideal specimens for empty spots and walked away with plants they didn’t know they needed. Our more ‘member-led’ evenings are always a pleasure; a chance to catch up with friends and neighbours in a most convivial way.

The next meeting is Monday, 12th May. It’s the club’s annual visit to a local garden and this year we’re off to Andrew’s Corner in Belstone. This is a garden open for charity and run under the National Garden Scheme since 1972. It’s a stunning garden on the northern edge of Dartmoor. A true plantsman’s garden with year-long interest, we can look forward to woodland plants including erythroniums, arisaemas, ferns and many spring bulbs at their best in April and May. Owner, Robin Hill, will catch up with groups as they tour the property giving ‘mini talks’ throughout the afternoon, followed by a homemade cream tea. The cost of this visit is £10 including the cream tea and this will be subsidised by the club for members only.
